The Festival is much more than just a series of evening shows! It's a multitude of non-stop activities throughout the town, from lively evenings at the open-air café and the bodega, to a world market, and no fewer than 6 spectacular shows at the Terrasse de l'Amitié (Friendship Terrace) featuring exceptional ensembles and, each year, new groups of unparalleled quality.

This summer, experience the magic of the world's greatest cycling race right here in Montignac-Lascaux! On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the Tour de France will pass through our village during a spectacular stage from Périgueux to Bergerac.
Your date with the Grande Boucle:
The passage: From midday onwards, the famous publicity caravan and the cyclists will bring the streets of Montignac to life.
The spectacle: A unique opportunity to admire the champions in the heart of our Vézère Valley, in a festive and electrifying atmosphere.
A moment to share at the gîte:
After the excitement of the race and the cheers along the roadside, we look forward to welcoming you to the reception area for a drink together.

Whether on foot, by bike, or on horseback, the Périgord Noir region boasts numerous hiking trails. Some even start from the Domaine des Compouzines, while others are located in and around Montignac (for example: "In the Footsteps of the Discoverers of Lascaux"). Throughout the Périgord, you'll find plenty of trails suitable for beginners, amateurs, or experienced hikers.

Tèrra Aventura is the opportunity to discover the Dordogne and geocaching, while diving into a captivating world.
QR codes are hidden in nature. The goal ? Discover their locations and the treasures they generate!
In the caches of Tèrra Aventura live the Poï’z, small characters with strong characters, to be uncovered using QR codes to flash at the end of the routes.
To discover them, it’s simple. Choose a route, let yourself be guided, answer the riddles and that's it!
